End of the Semester
In college, it always seems like every class has a test really close together. I have had weeks where I had two or three tests. I think that teachers need to take that into consideration and make their schedule a little different then everyone elses. This semester has been the hardest by far. Tomorrow I have a mock trial, group report, presentation, and a test!! I don't have time to prepare for everything especially since I'm working too. The end of semesters are always packed with assignments and tests. I will be so glad when December 11th comes (my last day of class). Sometimes I think that college professors think that if they give us hard assignments we will learn more. No, I don't think so! The harder the assignment, the more stressed out I become and I don't learn anymore then normal. Bottom line, I am so tired of college and I can't wait to graduate next fall!!!!

Advertising Gone Wild
Now days it seems like every where you go advertisements are being shoved in your face. There on billboards, commercials (obivously), radio, movies, Internet, and every where else. When there is not obvious advertising, there is usually hidden advertisements in movies and television shows. You can't avoid advertisements! They are in magazines and newspapers too. Whether you are driving down the road or at work, you are constantly being advertised to. It seems like everything is being sponsored now days, so brands are constantly being pushed in our faces. Little league sport teams are now being sponsored and they are required to where the brand on their uniforms. It is getting crazy! On the Internet, advertisements fill the pages and pop-ups are becoming more and more common (thank goodness for pop-up blockers)! Some web pages I can't even see well because they are so filled with advertisements. I think that advertising has become more intrusive and annoying. It makes me wonder what new ways companies are going to come up with to advertise its products/services.

Christmas Time is Coming
I love Christmas time!! It's my favorite time of the year but I think that stores place its Christmas items out too early. It seems like every year stores place its Christmas decorations out earlier and earlier. This year I noticed Christmas items out before Halloween. I don't like when they put out those items so early. It makes it seem like we can't fully enjoy the other holidays in between, like Halloween and Thanksgiving. I also think that it is silly for stores to put Christmas items out in October and put them on sale. It is not like you are getting a great deal of the items. The best time to get Christmas items is really close to December 25th or after. When I see Christmas decorations out in October, I feel like I am being rushed or something. I don't like it. I guess it seems like when Christmas time really gets here, it's not as special or neat to see all the Christmas decorations out because they have already been in stores since October and sometimes in September.

Halloween

Happy Halloween
I have always enjoyed Halloween. When I was little I loved getting dressed up and going trick-or-treating. As I got older, I loved being the one who hands out the candy. I am a festive person, so I dress up for Halloween and my dogs too! This is one of my dogs and she is wearing a frankenstein mask! She's so cute! My other dog only would wear a pumpkin bandana because he does not like dressing up. For the past couple of years, I have been dressing up for Halloween with my friends and going to parties. I am the only one who dresses conservativly. All of friends and I mean All use Halloween as an opportunity to dress trashy. Besides going to parties, I also love to hand out candy and see all the little kids dressed up in their cute costumes. This year, I seen a lot of cute lil' clowns, pigs, witches, and princesses. I just hate when you get those older kids that come knocking at the door two hours after you are done handed out candy. And some of them aren't even dressed up! I would like to not give them candy, but I can't be rude. Truthfully I'd rather be out trick-or-treating then going to parties! I want to be a little kid again with no worries or stress!

My Yorkies
People always have questions about how to potty train their dogs or general tips on the animal all around. I found that with my two yorkies, the crate method worked great. I would keep them in their crate over night and I would get up in the middle of the night while they were really young to let them go potty. But eventually, I didn't get up in the night at all, even if they were whining. Dogs don't like to go potty in the place that they sleep, however, that doesn't not mean they won't if they can't hold it. When they went potty in the house, I would put them by the spot that they went and tell them No firmly and them quickly put them outside. They eventually learned that they had to go potty outside. I would also put them in their crate to punish them when they went in the house. But I didn't leave them in the crate for long because dogs will eventually forget why they are in there in the first place.
Another good thing is get puppies a good solid chew toy, this prevents them from finding something around the house the chew on especially when they are teething. You don't want to get a bone that will fall apart easily because they could choke on the tiny pieces that may fall off.
Yorkies are very lovable dogs but they are also very very protective over what's theirs. They are very good watch dogs, but not guard dogs, obviously =). They are really sweet and pretty easy to potty train, however it doesn't depend on the dog because my male was easier to potty train then my female. Anyone looking for a dog should definitely get a yorkie, you will be very happy with the little one. I am a strong believer in animal shelters too! I think that all animals deserve second homes!

Should Children Be Tried As Adults?
Should children be tried as adults? I believe that by a certain, say 13, a person is fully aware of what is right and wrong. I have read many cases that involved 13-17 year olds committing horrific murders and they get sent to a juvenile facility, which is a slap on the wrist. I think that they should be tried as adults for murder, as for other crimes, I'm not sure. When someone commits murder they take someone's life that affects many family members and friends. So I definitely think that the person who committed the murder should be severly punish and not just sent to a juvenile facility. There are many children that are in and out of juvenile facilities because they don't learn the first time. They say that they learned that the juvenile system wasn't very strict so they went on committing crimes. I think that every murder case committed by a person under the age of 18 should be carefully evaluated and be on a person-by-person basis because mental capacity and things like that have to be considered. I know that when I was 13-14, I clearly knew right from wrong and that if I violated a law, I would get punished. I think society gives to much sympathy to children under the age of 18. I also believe in rehabilitation, so I don't think that children should get life without parole even though 42 states have laws that allow them to convict children with life without parole. Oklahoma can convict 13 year olds as adults for certain violate crimes. I think that there a lots of problems with our legal system. What do you think about convicting children as adults and for what crimes?
